For attendees, exhibitors and presenters
Attendees:
Can I register at the event?
- Yes, though pre-registration is preferred and a higher registration fee will be charged on the day of the event.
- Online registration closes 24 hours prior to the start of the conference.
Is there special pricing if I can only attend half the day?
No. We reserve space and food for the total number of attendees.
How do I get the member rate?
- Confirm that your organization is a member of the association. (See below).
- Select the member rate on the online registration form.
- If you have any questions or need assistance registering please call 608-236-4693.
How do I find out if my company is a member?
Please click on the Biotech in WI tab. A search window will appear on the left side of the screen.
Do you have student pricing?
- Yes. Please check this year’s registration fees for more information on pricing for college and high school students.
- Scholarships are sometimes available for students. Please contact Jenny Christianson at jchristianson@bioforward.org for information.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancelled by BioForward:
- BioForward reserves the right to cancel
- Registrants will be offered a full refund, minus a $50 cancellation processing fee
Cancelled by Registrant:
- You may choose to send a colleague in your place at no additional charge any time after making your reservation.
- Deadline to receive a refund is two weeks prior to the event (a nominal cancellation fee will be charged) .
- Cancellations received after the deadline are not eligible for a refund, but a colleague may be sent in your place at no additional charge.
- Cancellations are accepted via phone, fax or e-mail and must be received five business days prior to the event.

No refunds are available for registrants who choose not to attend.

What are the Exhibit Hall Hours?
- Exhibit hall is open: August 25th: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Setup hours: August 25th: 6:30am - 7:20am or August 24th tentatively 7:00pm - 11:00pm
- Tear-down hours: August 25th: 4:35pm - 5:00pm
- Exhibitors are encouraged to attend sessions if desired. Booths should be staffed during non-session times.
What is provided to exhibitors?
- 8’ x 10’ space
- 8 ft. table, with tablecloth and skirting
- Booth number will be provided in advance of event
- Flooring is carpet throughout hotel and exhibit hall area
Is electricity included?
- Electricity will be provided at your exhibit space for an additional $40.

Delivery must NOT be more than 72 hours prior to the event.
Presenters:
I am a speaker. Where and when should I send my presentation.
- Please send your presentation electronically to Karen Dettinger by Friday, August 20th: kdettinger@bioforward.org
- Presentations will be preloaded into PowerPoint 2007 prior to the conference to confirm formatting.
- If you have changes to your presentation, please bring them on a flash drive the day of the event. If possible, please notify Karen Dettinger in advance that a revised presentation is coming.
If I’m a speaker, is my registration fee covered?
- Yes. All speakers at the BioForward Annual Conference receive a complimentary conference registration
- Your registration covers all conference events on August 25th.
What if I need a hotel room?
- A block of rooms is reserved at the conference hotel.
- To reserve a room, please contact the hotel directly at (608) 831-2000
- Ask for the "BioForward" block of rooms to obtain the conference rate of $99 plus tax.
- Assuming room availability, this rate is guaranteed until Monday, July 26th.
