BioForward is pleased to offer this professional development program to our members in 2010, through the generous support of a grant from the Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin, funded by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
Choose from a variety of seminars and peer learning programs designed to meet the needs of those working in science and technology based organizations. Topics include: communicating as a scientist, basics of financial management, HR basics, leading in a science-based organization, project management, and more . . .

Program Overview
Two types of programs are available:
Structured Peer Learning Programs
Foundational Theories of Work: The Science of Organizations - This unique nine week program was developed specifically for BioForward, and is open to employees in bioscience-based organizations. Learn some of the core management and leadership approaches, while learning to avoid falling into the latest fads. Meet peers across the bioscience community and further your professional network. Schedule will be developed around participant availability. $120 for BioForward Members, $500 for NonMembers. PeerSpectivesTM - A limited number of scholarships are available to CEO’s, Presidents or Business Owners who are participating for the first time in the highly regarded Wisconsin PeerSpectives Network.
